Your Mission

  • Oversees and manages all relevant licensing–in (PUMA as licensee) and all licensing-out (PUMA as licensor)
  • Leads a team of licensed business managers who oversee the day to day implementation of the partner agreements
  • Together with relevant PUMA stakeholders steers and manages the licensed commercial strategies  in partnership
  • Provide consultation and advice to product management teams as well as Sports Marketing, Marketing, Business Units, Brand and Strategy counterparts in PUMA SE and local subsidiaries, regarding business planning for relevant licensed business  and strategy and steer alignment in respect of all business aspects
  • Builds and maintains a constructive and meaningful network of brand owners (incl. agencies) and relevant product/category specialists
  • Maintains full and complete overview of all brand licensed business partners and ensures all relevant PUMA stakeholders are kept up to date
  • Together with Legal and financial teams safeguards that contracts are executed in a timely manner whilst ensuring PUMA’s position and interest is represented as best as possible
  • Together with Controlling and relevant BU provides forecasts
  • Responsible for contract negotiation and contract drafting (together with legal team) for the licensed-out partnerships
  • Supports Business development in relation to the business driven through these relevant partnerships
  • Steer and implement best practice and business processes in order to implement business plans and to ensure effective and efficient go-to-market strategies
  • Pro-actively steer improvements in process management
  • Steer and manage internal and external communication between relevant internal stakeholders, subsidiaries, affiliates and asset(s).

Your Talent

  • University degree in Business or related degree
  • 6 plus years of experience in a Licensing environment role with leadership experience
  • Experience in working with consumer facing products
  • Experience working in a matrix organization strongly preferred
  • Ability to influence without direct authority, collaborate and negotiate with internal customers
  • Strong presentation and business acumen skills required
  • Proven skills in Excel, Powerpoint, budget management
  • Fluency in English. Other language skills are a plus.
