Your Mission

  • Contribute to the formulation of the annual product design plan for the Basketball Sportstyle Footwear category, in the classic space, as well as progressive design interpretations and aligning key reissues.
  • Introduce and executing innovative design ideas aimed to achieve the business targets and product category objectives
  • Lead in execution of the product design brief as line plan provided by the Product Line Management side and achieving set goals with the direction of the Team Head/Head of Design/Creative Director.
  • Lead by example & mentor and coach more junior team members
  • Independently integrate product and technical developments into category-right product design.
  • Contribute to the quality of products' design content in order to reinforce and strengthen the brand position and generate consumer demand
  • Under the direction of the Team Head/Head of Design/Creative Director, collect market intelligence, providing all involved with accurate and up-to-date information on design trends and developments and utilizes them effectively.
  • Build close relationship with the Product Line Management/Development Team/Global Design Network for good teamwork and communication.
  • Meet category requirements and innovate in order to expand market share.
  • Deliver projects in line with Puma’s development calendar.
  • Travel to factories to finalize prototypes.
  • Ensure internal communication systems are updated to deadlines with accurate information.

Your Talent

  • Bachelor/Master’s degree in design, Fashion Design or similar education
  • At least 5-8 years’ work experience as a Footwear Designer
  • Strong product knowledge in footwear and passion for the product
  • Trend oriented as well as distinctive interest to work with the product management on a global basis
  • Strong understanding of the go-to-market process from design ideas to completing tech packs etc.
  • Excellent feeling for colors, creativity and organization
  • High motivation to contribute own tasks in a very responsible way
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Team player mentality.
