Manager, Fit and Wear Test

Your Mission

  • Work with the Footwear Developers to understand product functionality to assure the appropriate tester is assigned to each product
  • Understand the footwear needs of athletes in the running, training and basketball categories and use this knowledge to select the correct tester and analyze the fit, comfort, performance and durability with the athletes needs in mind
  • Focus efforts to support the testing of the performance running and the performance basketball categories
  • Apply knowledge of construction, components, materials and lasts to appropriately analyze complex performance running and basketball product
  • Manage priorities for assigned projects
  • Keep continuous communication and follow up with the testers for feedback while keeping the Product Developer informed on all findings
  • At the completion of each test, compile the results of each tester’s evaluation, crosscheck evaluation where needed with the tester and analyze also the shoes being tested
  • Summarize the findings and review the products fit and performance feedback with the Product Developer
  • Make recommendations for product improvement as needed based on the testing feedback
  • Maintain and update our Product Database with all relevant information of articles being tested

Your Talent

  • 5 + years’ experience within related Footwear industry, ideally in a performance footwear environment
  • Strong attention to details and Analytic problem-solving skills
  • Team player with strong communication and organizational skills, very good ability to interact across functions and external partners
  • Sound computer skills including Microsoft Office. MS Access experience a plus, but not necessary
  • Requires international and domestic travel- up to 10%
