- Partner with Joint Ventures and internal PUMA departments to support brand alignment and growth across all 3rd party categories.
- Build and drive cross-functional (Merchandising, Sales, Procurement, Operations, Marketing, Finance, etc.) processes to improve communication, decision making and efficiency.
- Partner with PUMA North America Finance team to drive planning, reporting and budget alignment.
- Manage internal/external milestone calendar and key cross-functional meeting facilitation.
- Utilize market data and industry insights to develop strategies and proposals that drive healthy, balanced and sustainable sales volume across all JV categories.
- Partner with Footwear and Apparel Merchandising and Sales counterparts to become fully versed on seasonal priority concepts, flow, pricing and distribution plans. Utilize this knowledge to educate JV and drive 360-degree brand alignment
- Partner with Merchandising Operations to execute required product set up, sample orders, forecasting and procurement.
- Serve as primary PUMA point of contact and “filter” for communication or product information sharing between Global Business Units and JV teams.
- Influence and recommend Global product supplementation for JV seasonal range as needed.
- Recommend pricing strategy for JV product that aligns with Footwear and Apparel categories.
- Review JV category assortments for sensitive distribution.
- Monitor sell-in and sell-through results for JV categories across all channels of distribution to drive decision making and provide insight to Footwear and Apparel Merchandising/Sales counterparts.
- Participate in domestic and international Global product/merchandising milestone meetings to support alignment across categories.
- Partner with Retail Merchandising counterparts to align on seasonal range needs and final assortments.
- Ensure Retail assortment needs are properly communicated across functions to drive system accuracy and efficiency.
- Communicate seasonal PUMA marketing strategies and activation plans to JV’s to drive alignment.
- Facilitate shared resources across PUMA and the JV’s for campaigns and other marketing materials (photo shoots, etc.).
- Advocate for JV category inclusion in 360 marketing efforts.
