Your Mission

  • Build, maintain and coordinate purchasing critical path across the business
  • Build and maintain purchasing  with critical information from the global OPD calendar
  • Align with Merchandise team on line list for key initiatives, global/local product launch dates and planned in-store dates
  • Identify peak volume periods and proactively coordinate with stakeholders to achieve optimum stock flow for Retail and Wholesale
  • Integrate orders on hand and forecast demand from all departments prior to OPD
  • Prepare information for pre-purchase  meetings with relevant  departments to align volume purchase
  • Ensure PO’s are raised at appropriate OPD to fulfill customer demand for Wholesale and Retail
  • Lead the negotiation process, engage with Wholesale and Retail teams to provide guidance and seek feedback on volume negotiation
  • Distribute ‘OPD ceased’ list to stakeholders with proposed solutions to maintain order hold
  • Develop an efficient reporting process to communicate product cancellations/delays  weekly/monthly
  • Maintain purchase information in OTB file and work collaboratively with Demand Planning on business opportunities

Your Talent

  • Degree in Business, Accounting, Commerce or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum 2 years experience in Supply Chain, Planning, Merchandising or related functions
  • Industry experience in Retail, FMCG
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
  • Working knowledge of MS Office suite of products
  • SAP experience highly regarded and Power BI exposure is preferred
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong influential communicator
  • Strong analytical thinking & problem solving
  • Positive, solution driven attitude
  • Ability to establish good cross-cultural working relationships
  • Strong time management and prioritisation
