Your Mission

  • Initiate clear strategic vision, lead and manage future growth of the Internet Channels in the United States
  • Travel extensively to key retail partners to monitor and manage PUMA distribution and execution of PUMA Brand Strategy in Apparel & Accessories product segments
  • Achieve annual sales and profit objective for designated accounts
  • Drive creation and implementation of Channel Strategy; provide strategic direction to PUMA Sales Team
  • Negotiate markdown assistance with Retail partners on a quarterly basis
  • Work closely with Product Merchandising and Marketing to bring new products to the US market on a seasonal basis.  Proactively manage progression of product line throughout each season
  • Work closely with Director or Sales brief the needs of account base to Product Merchandising
  • Present Brand Strategy and lead Account Executives in presentations of new product lines at key customer accounts, as well as US Sales Meetings
  • Lead Channel Seasonal Forecast process
  • Work closely with retail e-commerce teams to align on consistent product presentation and potential content improvements
  • Manage appropriate marketing investments, in-store presence, and online brand stores
  • Analyze In season performance/ OTB review and re-strategize next phase plans
  • Lead the management of 3rd Party Online Marketplace Distribution Approval and Strategy
  • Recognize and Create New business opportunity
  • Drive conversations relative to logistical and operational improvements to increase e-commerce efficiency
  • Demonstrates strong Team building skills: Creates clear expectations and delivers necessary tools to execute in a timely manner
  • Drive sales forecasting analysis using retailer projections and insights

Your Talent

  • Travel extensively through US Market, 40% Travel
  • Credible knowledge and experience with US Internet Channel with a focus on apparel and accessories.
  • Strong proficiency in retail math
  • Strong leadership skills.  High initiative, high energy, passionate, decisive, eye for detail, confident
  • Strong analytical, overall business orientation
  • Open communication/good listening skills
  • History of success in implementing product and brand strategies tailored to e-commerce shopping patterns.  From product strategy, through search optimization, and into conversion.
  • Understanding of e-commerce marketing analytics and terminology with the ability to apply learnings to sales and advertising spend strategies in season
  • Ability to speak proficiently to the sales pros and cons of back-end operational systems.  Examples include EDI implementations, advanced consumer insight software, drop shipment, and enhanced product attribution.
  • Experience with and a functional understanding of the compliance-based needs of e-commerce packaging, labeling, and shipping to support internal compliance and logistics teams
  • Experience working with E-Commerce retailers, particularly Amazon, and their wholesale portals
  • Expert level understanding of Amazon Vendor Central and Amazon Retail Analytics
  • 6+ years apparel/footwear sales management experience with international fashion/sports company or in buying/merchandising for a major department store.
  • Experience in the apparel business  preferred
