Your Mission

  • Manage a team of copywriters, art directors, designers and content creators.
  • Work with Business Unit (BU) Strategist and the Head of Brand Creative (HOBC) to outline creative strategy and approach to projects.
  • Provide input on cross-channel BU (PR, Consumer, Commercial) briefs.
  • Work across channels to concept and execute creative ideas.
  • Organize work as is it’s being developed, making sure it stays true to brand and seasonal creative directions.  
  • Serve as the lead creative voice in the POD, giving updates at POD meetings and cross-channel meetings.
  • Correspond with and keeps the HOBC informed on the status of all current projects.
  • Work with BU creative planners to identify resources and assign people to projects.
  • Maintain relationships with heads of Production and Studio with regard to timing, budget and process.
  • Oversee the development of sales tools – creative proposals, mood boards, internal documents, videos.
  • Contribute to the selection of various production partners – photographers, videographers, designers, models, stylists, etc.
  • Consult and coordinates photoshoots with PUMA producers.
  • Serve as the lead creative voice on photoshoots and guides the photography selection process.
  • Represent the POD creatively at internal meetings in Boston and Germany (IMT, 360).

Your Talent

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design and/or relevant field of study
  • 10+ years relevant creative experience in print/film/digital/retail/brand design
  • Exceptional ability to see projects through all phases of implementation including: concept ideation; design development; and resource allocation/management
  • Thorough understanding of creative process, color theory and typography as well as interactive, digital design and video storytelling
  • Knowledge of sport/ fashion trends and an understanding of the current media landscape
  • Fluent in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat on Mac
  • Exceptional presentation skills and proven ability to effectively work with senior management to brainstorm, design and strategize the fulfillment of marketing executions
  • Experience directing and overseeing both studio and location photo shoots under aggressive, time-sensitive conditions
  • Leadership capabilities, including ability to motivate and mentor others within work group and proven experience with the management of creative minds
  • Experience in the fashion, athletic/apparel industry a plus
