Your Mission

  • Analyze daily cash position by compiling bank information and projecting disbursements for multiple bank accounts to ensure adequate balances meet the short term corporate cash requirements
  • Initiate wires and ACHs for payment through corporate banking system and SAP
  • Clear wires/ACHs/checks for daily bank activity
  • Record daily cash receipts and disbursements in the General Ledger for corporate bank accounts on a daily basis, preparing journal entries and gathering required source documents as needed
  • Compile records for customs recording
  • Prepare all necessary entries for corporate bank accounts, in addition to retail bank charges
  • Prepare weekly and month end deposits as needed
  • Perform monthly general ledger account reconciliations, including but not limited to, intercompany reconciliations and confirmations with PUMA entities throughout the world
  • Record sweep transactions for movement between retail stores and corporate consolidated account as well as performing retail drains to the corporate bank account
  • Monthly cash flow reporting ensuring data integrity and analyzing figures in order to provide Controlling with accurate information for cash flow projections
  • Coordinate with banks for access, setups and administration
  • Intercompany invoicing on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Assist in the month end, quarter-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring transactions are in accordance with guidance from Parent Company while adhering to internal policies and procedures, communicating exceptions to management
  • Work as a team with other staff accountants in standardizing practices and procedures
  • Document job procedures and update as changes may occur
  • Create and implement strategies to improve efficiencies of job functions
  • Participate in ad hoc requests and special projects as needed

Your Talent

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 1-to-3 years of related experience
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in managing goals through initiative, collaboration and teamwork
  • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills required
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills required
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to apply strong problem solving techniques
  • SAP experience a plus
