The primary role of the Head of Sales is to support the objective of driving profitable and sustainable market share and net sales growth, delivering against the wholesale financial budget, while executing in respect to PUMA standards and qualitative objectives.
To lead all wholesale activities in the pursuit of becoming the ‘preferred partner’ by establishing profound relationships with decision makers across all key customers, build on a transparent and fact-based commercial platform ensuring mutual commercial success.
To support the development of the PUMA WHS strategy and subsequently lead the translation and implementation at local level to improve standardization and executional excellence across all sales activities ie. Account Mgmt and Segmentation, Trade Terms Policies and other functional initiatives.
To recruit and build the local sales organization with respect to the SEA / PH Sales Org blueprint and business needs.
To develop, train and lead all direct reports thru clear target setting, objectives guidelines and sales disciplines.
To drive cross functional collaboration of all direct reports and key interfaces.
To forecast, track and report quantitative and qualitative performance on own and departmental KPIs i.e. Sales and Margin, Trade Terms, Orderbook.
To monitor and report on customer and competitor performance ie market share and development, sell-thru performance and ROI on key activities.
To support the local and SEA senior management team in formulating and executing the local PUMA brand strategy – mid- to long-term by ensuring priorities are set and resource allocated accordingly. I.e. GTM planning.
