Position Summary & Key Objectives
This position is responsible for leading recruitment for corporate roles, which includes developing TA strategy, planning for execution, recruitment process management and guiding and mentoring the team to help them deliver.
The position aims at working towards ‘Employer Branding’ and ensuring the company’s position as an ‘Employer of Choice’.
Responsible for hiring the right talent at the right time and making sure that we create a wow experience for all the candidates.
Managing lateral hiring and campus hiring across the country.
Regularly interact with candidates on social media to ensure a pre-joining engagement experience for the candidate.
Ensuring that the costing structure is optimized in the best possible manner
Hiring the best candidate at the lowest cost to optimize the budget requirements
Responsible for sourcing the best candidates and compensation benchmarking
Ensure and promote diversity in the selection
Choose appropriate sources of hiring – external and internal and ensure the appropriate number of quality profiles are sourced
Define, design and implement a robust Campus Recruitment Program
Identify the list of campuses, initiate interaction with them and participate in the selection process
Design the selection process for campus recruitment
Identify panel members for specific campuses, communicate with them regarding the process and requirement
Internal Stakeholder Management
Communicate regularly with internal stakeholders to determine the effectiveness of the recruiting strategy and implementation and to gauge changing needs and requirements for manpower
Communicate with managers and employees regularly to establish rapport and source new candidate leads.
Proactively communicate expected joining timelines for the new joinees
Identify and empanel recruitment vendors like placement agencies and job portals and effectively work with them to close vacancies in a timely manner
Negotiate terms and conditions with various job portals and when required and ensure availability of services of these portals to the recruitment team to carry out recruitment activities
Design and deploy processes to measure vendor effectiveness in terms of the overall performance of vendors
Serve as the primary point of contact for the HR team regarding vendor issues
Coordinate with Finance for payments to these vendors
MIS and Reporting
Generate weekly/monthly MIS reports on hiring status – monthly hiring plan update, sourcing effectiveness and reviewing the salary offers and negotiations being made with the HR Head.
Create and review monthly MIS reports evaluating the cost/budget performance
Review the confirmation ratings of the new hires to understand the quality of recruitment – to highlight specific trends to the Head HR
Analyze recruitment costs and recruitment lead time periodically for adherence to the budgets and prescribed guidelines, and provide the reports to the Head
