Position:  Media Manager, PUMA North AmericaLocation: Westford, MA (suburb of Boston) Job Description:This position reports directly to the Director of Communications at PUMA North America, as part of the PNA Marketing Communications team and is the primary contact for PUMA North America’s Media Planning & Buying Agency.  The Media Manager will aid in campaign planning and execution exclusively in the US Market.  This role works closely with the PUMA North America marketing team to help develop and execute media campaigns that span all product categories (sport, lifestyle and fashion), as well as regional and account marketing initiatives.  This role is also responsible for gathering important consumer, industry, and competitive data that will help inform marketing and campaign strategy.  Media Manager is also responsible for all day to day campaign efforts including budgeting and invoicing, meeting with media vendors, campaign and media trend reporting and providing insight and recommendations as part of the media planning process. Project management skills are necessary.  Job Responsibilities:·         Manage Media Planning & Buying Agency
  • Works hand-in-hand with marketing managers to develop campaign communication strategies that includes clear, measurable objectives and planning parameters
·         Drives media planning and execution with support from Media Agency·         Work with Creative Services and Media Vendors to implement media campaigns, including development of production schedules and flow carts·         Monitor and optimize all campaigns and develop thorough campaign recap reports ·         Participate and lead weekly status calls with media agency and report back to team as needed·         Provide marketing team with POV on emerging media opportunities that are brand relevant
  • Ensure that consumer, industry, and competitive research is being delivered by agency on a timely basis in order to inform marketing strategy
  • Manage media budget, invoice processing, and campaign reconciliation
  Skills and Qualifications:  ·         Bachelors degree in Communications and/or Marketing·         At least 3-5 years agency experience or the equivalent in media planning·         Established working relationships with media vendors is a plus·         Familiarity and/or experience with sport and fashion industries·         Strategic and creative thinker·         Must posses strong presentation skills·         Excellent writing and organization skills·         Proven ability to work independently and multi-task·         Must be detail oriented, resourceful, self-motivated and proactive·         Strong computer skills, with knowledge of basic MS Office programs

 

 Travel:

  • Regular trips to NYC for agency meetings
  • Other travel – 10%
