Global Retail Brand Manager

Become a member of our Global Retail Marketing team within the International Marketing Department at PUMA North America, Inc.!
 
This position will oversee the creative direction and procedural implementation of all global retail campaigns. Campaigns will include efforts to drive traffic to our owned and operated stores in multiple regions, enhance the experience of the brand and our product while shopping store environments, and foster ongoing relationships with shoppers and purchasers via CRM programs. This position will be a senior member of the team and will make decisions and guide executions that match the strategy and objectives of senior management.

Job Description:

• Works closely with Global Product Marketing, Global Retail Merchandising and Regional Hubs to develop Store Event Calendars.
• Develops and manages the creative process for all in store retail projects.
• Guides the overall creative concept of communications in our stores, within our retail traffic driving initiatives, and for our off-line customer contact programs.
• Deals directly with creative suppliers to provide direction for programs under the overall direction of global brand management.
• Directs the implementation of PUMA’s in-store environmental creative branding program.
• Works closely with regional Visual Merchandising teams to ensure correct implementation of creative concepts and proper creation of implementation guidelines.
• Manages in-store materials creative development budget as well as relationships with external creative teams developing creative concepts for our Retail Stores.
• Communicates with global retail and global marketing teams to ensure that communications packages fit within the overall brand campaign direction.
• Works with global Brand Management as well as PR, Interactive, and Creative teams to ensure alignment of all initiatives across all channels



We Expect:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or other related field
• 7-8 years post-college experience in Retail Environmental Design, Retail Visual Merchandising, or Retail Marketing.
• Knowledge of the retail environment and trends in the business
• Awareness of competitors’ retail marketing activities
• Ability to present information and communicate effectively with a variety of teams and individuals around the world.
• Experience in running or managing a retail business is a plus
• General awareness and knowledge of the sportswear and lifestyle product category
• High initiative, high energy, confidence, passion for the job, decisive eye for detail
• Creative thinker and innovator with exceptional design/typography/layout skills
• Willingness to learn and take creative and art direction
• Ability to excel in a fast paced environment without compromising quality
• Some travel may be required
