Join the International Marketing Team at Puma’s Boston office. Accepted intern will assist in day to day operational activities including: global budget control and analysis, internal workflow assessment and corrections, and communication efficiency improvement.
Job Description:
Budget Control and Analysis
o Collaborate globally to assist in monitoring of marketing budget planning and distribution.
o Oversee day to day allocation of funds.
o Develop tools and infrastructure to assist in budget monitoring, control, and planning
o Assist in strategic planning to best utilize existing funds currently budgeted for projects
o Work with budget responsible parties to adjust and reallocate funds throughout the year to optimize marketing efficacy (power of mkt. message) and efficiency levels.
o Constantly evaluate existing planned spends for inefficiencies.
Internal Strategy
o Aid in departmental communication planning and vendor/agency relationship building process
o Assist in development of more streamlined invoicing policies and procedures
We Expect:
• Must be enrolled in degree program and eligible to receive academic credit
• Internship is unpaid and for academic credit only
• Keen attention to detail
• Strong knowledge of Excel, Word and Power-point is required.
• Must be able to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Must be a team player
