Intern - Product Line Manager, Footwear Lifestyle/Women's

The Lifestyle Footwear Intern will be responsible for assisting Puma International Footwear Designers, Footwear Color Designers, Footwear Developers, and Product Line Managers meet their seasonal objectives. Responsibilities will include supporting the team in their daily activities. Tasks include: conducting research and analysis, creating trend boards, and other projects.
The selected candidate will be exposed to strategic planning, forecasting, design, and development of an international product line. He/ she will gain an understanding of a retail merchandising organization and its processes. The candidate will develop business knowledge of footwear marketplace
Job Description
Provide support to team members in all aspects of the Lifestyle Footwear product line. Will assist in the development of product lifecycle strategies. Conduct research on industry and consumer trends, competitive activities, and market intelligence. Must have the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.
We Expect
o Must currently be enrolled in college/university seeking a degree in, Business/ Marketing, Retail, Fashion Design, or related discipline.
o Must be detail-oriented and possess exceptional organizational skills.
o Is Proactive and delivers results.
o Must have stellar communication and interpersonal skills.
o Solid knowledge of Microsoft excel, powerpoint and word are necessary.
o Consumer/ industry awareness is key.
o Unpaid, academic credit, internship
o Hours are flexible
