Working location: Vietnam Long An
Main Responsibilities
Ø Work with a team of merchandiser, factories and customer to ensure products are developed and produced according to required fit, price and quality.
Ø To identify issue upfront that may prevent product objectives from being met. Including cost targets, quality standards in construction and materials, ease of manufacture, etc.
Ø Ensure samples address desired function, including checking for quality, size, fit and adherence to standards
Ø Drive strategic sourcing initiatives for vendor/ factory base including lead time reduction, quick response and supporting the implementation of new technologies
Ø Manage supplier relationship, including resolution of capacity and production issues, final price negotiations and long-term sourcing objectives.
Skills and Experience Required
Ø Bachelor’s degree in Apparel Industry or equivalent through experience
Ø Having at least 10 years of textiles experience
Ø Self motivated
Ø Be able to work independently and effectively under pressure
Ø Adaptable to a dynamic environment
Ø Be a team leader
Ø Good internal and external communications
Ø Good computer skills Excel, Email etc.
