Become a member of our Apparel Design team in our headquarters in Herzogenaurach! As a Designer Foundation (m/f) you contribute to the formulation of the annual product design plan for your product category and introduce and execute innovative design ideas, in order to achieve business targets and product category objectives.

Your responsibilities include:

• Support the Senior Designer in the execution of innovative product design development aimed at continuous design innovation and achieving set goals
• Integrate product and technical development into product design
• Contribute to the quality of product design content in order to reinforce and strengthen the brand position and generate consumer demand
• Challenge the global brand positioning guidelines to ensure consideration of new product and program ideas and appropriate modification when necessary
• Under the direction of the Senior Designer/Creative Directing Manager/Creative Director, collect market intelligence, providing all involved with accurate and up-to-date information on design trends and developments and utilize them effectively
• Launch innovative product design ideas in line with specific product strategies
• Identify functionality requirements and ensure accurate use of information technology systems in order to gain competitive advantage
• Identify opportunities for design support in order to improve business processes and enhance customer/consumer intimacy
• Ensure that design activities leverage learning across the Puma organization
• Contribute to adequate protection of PUMA's intellectual property
• Delivery of projects in line with PUMA's development calendar

You will be a perfect fit if you match the following profile:

• Bachelor/Master degree in Design, Fashion Design or similar education
• Several years of experience in the Sports or Sportslifestyle Apparel industry
• Good communication skills (written and spoken)
• Very good English language skills
• Excellent computer skills (MS Office, Lotus Notes, Internet), Illustrator knowledge is a plus
• Openness, interest in working for a multinational company
• Independent worker with initiative
• Highly committed teamplayer with good organisational skills
