PUMA INTERNSHIP POSITION – Footwear Merchandising 

Job Summary:

 The footwear merchandising department at PUMA North America is looking to hire a highly motivated, responsible, and dedicated intern for the fall semester.  Previous experience in the footwear industry is not necessary; however a desire to learn is imperative. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following:  1.  Research various topics in order to provide fresh ideas and feedback regarding product trends, consumer types, and product flow2.  Maintain and organize key internal documents 3.  Assist in the preparation for company meetings4.  Maintain product sample databases Requirements: 

• Must currently be a student
• Must be extremely organized and detail oriented
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Candidate must possess interest in sports marketing, product merchandising, and general business analysis.  In addition, person is expected to be self managed on assigned tasks. 

  Technical Experience/skills 

• General PC knowledge; Word, Power Point, Excel
• Adobe Illustrator knowledge is a plus

 Time Requirement 

• Full Time (30-40 hours per week)
• Flexible schedule

 Compensation  

• We are looking for current students who are looking for school credit.
